- Local Shop Tow to Virgils for Repair
- hooked up scanner and found obd 2 port dose not have power. replaced cigarette lighter fuse and scanned for codes. found no codes present, performed koeo self test and found no codes, performed koer self test and found no codes. monitored fuel trims and found fuel trims are right where they should be. talked with jon and found customer stated it sputtered and would not start after sitting over night with no noticeable problems the night before. installed fuel pressure test gauge and found fuel pressure primes up to almost 70psi and when pump shuts off fuel system drops to 65psi. After letting the gauge sit for 10 min to see how far fuel pressure drops i found gauge reads 55psi. fuel system is holding pressure within Fords specifications. at this time i notice no issues with the vehicle related to the starting or running performance.
